Team leader across multiple production floor manufacturing areas and a Production Engineering team. Each area specific with its own processes, material, equipment etc. Management of employee holidays, queries, RTW’s and more. Driving to lead by example alongside continuous improvement to ensure the demands of the areas are fulfilled and increase production efficiencies. Machine design, integration, maintenance, liaising with contractors, organization of works, repairs and more Other duties involve adapting factory floor layout for the optimization on the production floor and process flow, building improvements and external sourcing of new machinery, supplies, parts, tooling, software and more. Education I studied mechanical engineering at ATU in Letterkenny. After completing the course I obtained a 1:1 in a honours degree in mechanical engineering. Hobbies Extracurricular activities I enjoy include football, swimming, kayaking, playing music and home build projects. Extra Experience I do a bit of fabrication in my spare time. I build my own buggies/ go karts, trailers etc as a hobby and test them out. The include a 400cc buggy, 1.5l buggy and 1.9TDI buggy. Other projects include kayak trailer conversions repair broken quads and diagnose electrical faults. I also have experience in fabricating, erecting, and cladding of farm sheds.
