About Conor Byron

I’m a passionate software developer who has been building web applications and interactive experiences for over 8 years. I have helped companies build their software from the ground up, taking projects from initial planning to production. I’ve worked with startups and established companies to build beautiful, efficient and intuitive applications using modern web tools like TypesScript, Firebase, React and Svelte. I’ve collaborated with artists to work on many unique and imaginative projects that have allowed me to become proficient with intriguing APIs such as WebGL, WebAudio and WebAssembly. I’ve drawn from everything I’ve worked on to facilitate workshops on the basics of HTML/CSS/JavaScript as well as music and graphics programming, all aimed at complete beginners. I am continually excited by the web browser’s potential as a multimedia application platform, and have committed myself to learning its intricacies and sharing this knowledge with others. Above all else, I value opportunities to work with teams of dedicated and creative individuals working on high-quality software. I will always be attracted by problems that require creative solutions, but more importantly, I aspire to practice my craft honestly and effectively.
