I am a qualified Chartered Accountant currently working as a Project Finance Manager for the National Development Finance Agency (NDFA) division of the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA). The NDFA provides financial advice to State authorities for public investment projects with a capital value over €75 million and also procures and delivers Public Private Partnership projects. As a Project Finance Manager my duties include- Project structuring and delivery - Financial modelling for infrastructure projects- Contract development: support with the preparation of financial requirements for procurement/legal documentation - Funding market engagement - General advisory work including financial statement analysis, financial robustness assessments, market analysis and options analysis. I previously worked as a Finance Business Partner for Volkswagen Financial Services Ltd who are the largest automobile financial services provider in Europe and acts as the Volkswagen Group’s internal bank. As a Finance Business Partner in the Risk and Controlling department, I had responsibility for managing the company’s budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis, this included preparing commercial pricing requests; supporting the month-end process; preparing financial business cases for new products; and profitability/risk analysis for specific commercial deals. I also previously worked as an Audit Senior for professional advisory firm Walsh O’Brien Harnett who are one of Ireland’s top 20 accountancy practices. As part of the SME team, I provided the following services to clients: audit & accounts preparation, monthly management accounts, VAT & Corporation Tax returns and ad-hoc work such as budgeting, forecasting and advisory work. Additional Skills & Attributes • Advanced in the use of Microsoft Office Products Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook • Completed the Corporate Finance Institute Financial Modelling and Valuation course including Excel skills such as cash flow forecasting and building various kinds of financial models. • Experience with SAP FSP, SAP Business Objects and various accounting packages including Relate, Sage, TAS and Xero
