I’m in the final year of my Sports Science degree at De Haagse Hogeschool, with a strong interest in how sport, business, and marketing come together. Over the past few years, I’ve been lucky to gain hands-on experience that’s helped me grow beyond the lecture hall. I co-founded Silver Era Transition, a start-up focused on making SME business transitions easier. That experience taught me a lot—about strategy, leadership, and what it takes to turn an idea into something real. Working in a fast-moving team, I learned the importance of clear communication, staying adaptable, and keeping team goals aligned with a bigger vision. Alongside that, I worked with Rugby Nederland in a media and communications role, where I helped shape digital campaigns and improve engagement. It pushed me to become more confident in sharing ideas and thinking about how content connects with different audiences. Right now, I’m interning at Yamaha Motor Europe as a Trade Marketing & Events Intern, supporting European campaigns in brand, digital, and event marketing. I’ve been involved in everything from social media and CRM to distributor coordination and competitor analysis—all in a fast-paced, international setting that’s sharpened both my creative and analytical skills. Across all of this, I’ve realised how much I enjoy working in international environments that combine creativity, purpose, and collaboration. I’m always curious to learn more and excited about opportunities where I can contribute, grow, and connect with others who share a passion for sport, innovation, and impact.
