24 years in Education, including; University Professor of English (Italy), Head of Studies for a Language School, Teacher at a Steiner Primary School and teaching acting in my own school. My approach to teaching has evolved over the years and now my main goal is for the students to have great results, but while enjoying themselves. Indeed, the results have been better all round. As a person, I am constantly thinking about new ways to inspire (teach), while also having great respect for whoever is learning with me. Students feel this and genuinely enjoy their classes, while simultaneously telling me that they have learned more than ever before. I also acted professionally for ten years, while working a full-time job. This experience really changed my life significantly. Acting (specially rehearsals) hones your ability to; accept feedback graciously, to manage your mental state and most importantly, it teaches you that your state of mind and emotion directly affect those with whom you interact, be they students or an audience or a colleague.
