About Conor McDermott

Cycle Sport has been a developmental workplace for me where I have had the opportunity to start a career centered around my passion for bikes. I started as a Bike Mechanic and advanced to my current role as a Warehouse and Distribution Manager. In this role, I have created and implemented quality standards for how bikes are assembled, packaged, and shipped to our customers, both in-store and online. I have also trained and supervised a team of mechanics and bike builders, ensuring that they follow these standards and deliver high-quality products and services. As our online business has grown exponentially, I have managed the inventory, customer support, and fulfillment of all online orders, using my interpersonal and problem-solving skills to handle any issues or requests. Before joining Cycle Sport, I worked as a Team Building and Tour Guide at Mount Hermon Camp and Conference Center, where I facilitated and led various outdoor activities and events for groups of all ages and backgrounds. I gained valuable experience in facilitation and team building, which I have applied to my current role. I enjoy working with people who share my love for bikes and the outdoors, and I am always eager to learn new skills and improve as a leader.
