About Conor McGivern

A highly effective theatre professional with wide knowledge of production management, events management, human resources and Health and Safety, I am inspired most when working within fast paced creative environments where my skills, expertise and experience can make a significant contribution to an organisation’s success. Over the course of my 30 year career, I have worn a number of different hats, from Head of Construction for the Royal Shakespeare Company, to production managing a wide range of regional and West End shows. As a result, I have a unique ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams, always acknowledging the importance that a diversity of skills, cultures and personalities brings to a working environment. I strongly believe in the importance of bringing a positive perspective to the workplace, leading by example to promote the development of a happy, engaged and motivated team, united in the pursuit of common objectives. I ensure exceptional attention to detail in everything that I do and always demand excellence from myself. With a calm and approachable manner and a good sense of humour, I aim to bring out the best in those I work with, and am adept at communicating with all levels of an organisation or the general public.
