About Conor McLaughlin

I started my experience and my career in 2018 as a CNC Operator at SOFLO Machining and slowly with the desire to learn more, found myself within 2 years of operating experience in 2020 becoming a programmer for SOFLO Machining. During this time, I went to school full-time and was working full-time. With the pandemic I was able to learn more and get hands on experience in managing the machine shop and getting a glimpse of my passion which is the business of manufacturing and engineering. During that same year I was the Floor Manager and was with SOFLO Machining through 2023 until I received my A.A. and my A.A.S. and earned the opportunity to transfer to the coveted Warrington College of Business where I am currently enrolled. Shortly after transferring I was given the opportunity to go up to the next step of my career and was hired and brought in as a Project Manager Intern at Theissen Training Systems. Leading me to where I currently am in my professional journey, which is attending the University of Florida full-time as a business student minoring in Retailing and Professional Selling. While continuing my extremely versed knowledge of manufacturing here at Theissen Training Systems.
