Recently relocated to Seattle, I am an IT Analyst looking for new opportunities in the metro area. I specialize in research, risk assurance, control testing and data analysis. My strengths are in software technology, peer mediation, public speaking, and event facilitation. I am recognized for solving tough problems and implementing an innovative, successful new processes. Works in collaboration with teams I help accomplish difficult goals. I am passionate about community development. Some additional skills include: Communication, Event Facilitation, Public Speaking, and Peer Mediation. In addition to a strong focus on communication and emotional intelligence focused skills, I also thrive in an environment that challenges me to work analytically. Nothing is more satisfying than solving a tough problem or implementing an innovative successful new process. Working with a close team to accomplish a difficult goal is where I thrive. At my previous job, I worked with a team tasked to create a new Risk Management process and enjoyed the hard work it took to perfect it. In every job I have strong focus in building and fostering community. In my professional career, I tend to find myself quickly joining the activities committee wherever I am. One of my most rewarding achievements outside of my main job was founding a successful monthly trivia game that is still going despite my having moved on from the company. At the end of the day, my main passion is working with people and using my industry knowledge as well as my communication and interpersonal skills to to enrich them either professionally or personally. Fun Facts about me! My favorite sport is rock climbing because it combines technical knowledge, on the spot decision making and determination to complete difficult problems. Improv comedy has been a passion of mine since high school. It has taught me not only how to react quickly to unknowns but also that teams are most successful when they support each other. There is no "star" in improv. I like to think I am a pretty good cook/baker as well.
