About Conor Moore

Commenced military pilot training with the Irish Air Corps in as part of the 21st Regular Air Corps Cadet Class and 77th Army Cadet Class. Received military pilots wings in 2002 and currently hold an EASA ATPL. Qualified Military Flight Instructor since 2013. Extensive experience in Maritime Surveillance operations, flying the CASA CN235, and held SFI, and T & IRE qualifications on this type. Currently holding T & IRE qualifications on the Learjet 45, and I am the Chief Pilot and manager of a VVIP transport operation. In 2009, completed a six-month tour of duty with the UN military in Congo (MONUC), reporting on military human rights violations and assisting in co-operation between the military and civilian organisations (CIMIC). In 2011, became commander of 105 (Photographic) Squadron. Responsible for all airborne photography in the Irish Defence Forces and with assisting the public relations office. Also completed Press and Information Officers course in 2012. In 2013,completed a Military Flight Instructors Course on Pilatus PC-9M and a Multi-Engine Instructor Conversion Course on CASA CN235. In 2017, completed an initial course on Learjet 45. Completed a BSc in Management and Aeronautical Studies in Dublin Institute of Technology in 2014, and was awarded a First Class Honours.
