As a Project Engineer with a Master’s degree from Dublin City University (DCU) in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering and industry experience across engineering and customer service, I bring both technical and practical expertise to every project I undertake. I am currently a Project Engineer with Burlington Engineering Ltd, where I apply my engineering knowledge to drive innovation and ensure quality in all aspects of mechanical systems.Previously, I gained hands-on experience in the retail environment as a Sales Assistant at IKEA’s Self-Service Warehouse. In this role, I assisted customers with product selection and delivery arrangements while maintaining safety and inventory standards. My five years in this position have strengthened my customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage a fast-paced environment.I also completed a 10-month internship with Sisk, contributing to the construction of residential buildings in Cherrywood. My responsibilities included overseeing the installation and inspection of mechanical and electrical systems, verifying that critical infrastructure such as piping and ductwork met regulatory standards and design specifications. This role enhanced my understanding of large-scale project execution and provided practical experience in quality control and site inspections.Beyond my professional life, I serve as Scout Leader with the 58th/85th Donnycarney Scout Troop. Having been a part of this community from a young age, I am now the section leader for scouts and am responsible for budgeting, planning events, and coordinating activities that foster growth and teamwork among young members. This role has refined my leadership, financial management, and event planning skills, all of which I bring into my professional and volunteer commitments.
