About Conor Reddy

Irish Research Council Enterprise Partnership Scholar in the Social Immunology (Ní Cheallaigh) Lab, at the School of Medicine, TCD. My research aims to uncover the biology underlying social gradients in health, particularly in the context of infectious diseases and accelerated ageing. Working primarily with human participants, I have acquired excellent project management and communication skills as well as a broad range of technical competencies and specialist knowledge across several scientific disciplines. As an IRC Enterprise Scholar, co-funded by DePaul Ireland, I work in collaboration with many individuals and organisations outside of academic research. I am passionate about scientific communication and believe strongly in the value of public and participant engagement in research. My work experience so far has allowed me to develop a host of highly transferrable skills in problem solving, data analysis, team leadership and innovation. I am on course to complete my PhD in September 2024 and am open to opportunities of all kinds.
