About Conrad Bakka

I'm passionate about higher education and I am currently working to optimize and improve the PhD experience for the next generation of researchers. I have spent more than 6 years in full-time roles as a researcher/PhD researcher and have additionally held several roles related to higher education. These include serving as an editor-in-chief for an academic publication, an interviewer/recruiter, and a materials manager for a national standardized test. I have presented my research in six countries, instructed 500+ students in three languages, and spent over 750 hours managing projects of various durations. My disciplinary area of expertise is metaethics, where I explore the nature, origin, and justification of ethical judgments and values. I also have a strong interest in AI and data analytics, including the use of Python, SQL, R, Excel, and Tableau to clean, analyze, and visualize datasets.
