About Conrad Leobrera

I specialize in recruitment for mid to executive level roles for the industrial and energy sectors in Japan, supporting established and start-up international clients in Japan (project developers/operators, equipment and service providers). I started as a market researcher with Optia Partners International in the Philippines in 2013 and moved to Japan after a year when I was promoted to a consultant role. Prior to joining Optia Partners, I spent almost 8 years working for a large US multinational BPO company where I managed teams of 5-20 people and handled roles in operations and workforce management. In my stay there, I was exposed to employee engagement, people development and internal promotion screening which sparked my interest in recruitment and led me to switching careers. I then spent about 2 years with an outsourced recruitment company, supporting some of the world’s biggest staffing firms while learning the different facets of recruitment in various industries. In October 2022, I joined RGF Executive Search Japan's X-Tech team. Quality, not quantity. I believe in the importance of fully understanding my clients' search requirements, how their business works, the kinds of candidates who would be a culture fit and I strive to be their preferred and trusted partner. I value long-term relationships and I find fulfillment in being able to make a difference in my candidate’s lives and in assisting my clients in their success - and I consider it a great privilege. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, traveling, hiking, doing photography, watching movies, meeting new people, having engaging conversations and learning new things.
