About Conrad Murphy

How I see myself and my place in the world has always been interpreted through creative expression and discovery, with music at its heart. Music defining who I am rather than merely what I do naturally led me to the LMI team. I started my career in events by getting my hands dirty, from building stages, sets and LED walls to setting up lighting rigs and sound systems in some of the world’s most high-end and illustrious events, from Chanel catwalks to UFC 204 at the O2 Arena. During this time I set my sights towards the creative and musical sphere of the industry, starting as a live music booking agent and now as Client Relationships Manager with LMI Live. Within the LMI family I have the privilege of working with extraordinarily talented musicians and creatively minded individuals who embody the values and skills that I share and aspire to for myself. Think elite level musicianship and production value, top professionalism and personal integrity. What’s more, I’m very fortunate to be in a role that bounces off my personality; connecting with clients to bring exceptional musical visions to life provides a level of job satisfaction I hope for everyone to experience. Outside the office I’m a DJ, most likely found in a record shop somewhere sieving through dusty crates of vinyl. I’ve always wanted to share my discovery that great music exists in every genre and corner of the globe, inspiring me to populate my sets with everything from Brazilian and Latin grooves to Zambian rock, house, disco, funk, soul, jazz, and anything else in between.
