Conrad assists companies in transformation at Deloitte utilising technology, finance optimisation, process improvement and people. Conrad previously led the Mineral Resource, Energy and Industrial sectors for iOCO and Nextec as part of EOH Group. He has built 2 businesses with successful exists to listed companies. Conrad possesses significant executive experience within the global consulting industry initially as a Senior International Partner at Deloitte Consulting and then as a co-founder of the Barnstone Group of Companies. His management experience has included work with international mining, manufacturing and resource companies such as BHP Biliton, Glencore, Anglo American, Sasol, Mittal Steel and Mining, Trafigura, JCI Limited and African Minerals where he and his teams provided advisory services and innovative, solution driven implementations across continents and time zones. Conrad has significant Pharmaceutical Manufacturing experience and experience in manufacturing at companies such as ABInbev, Schering Ag and Boots Pharmaceuticals He has devoted time to the development of people and industries for The Tshwane University of Technology’s Department of Computer Science, various Youth Employment Accelerators and Graduate Development Programmes that support and place qualified interns with companies that participate in the “ethos. In his spare time Conrad travels with his family to the bush and berg where he is able to ride on his mountain bike. He has competed in numerous races including the Cape Epic, the Sani2C and the Sabi Experience. He is actively involved with assisting medium size enterprises with business improvement and strategy development. In his personal life, he has achieved goals such as completing the Cape Epic Mountain bike race showing endurance, perseverance and goal orientation.
