I'm a software engineer with a strong foundation in PHP and SQL, experienced in modernizing and optimizing legacy systems. I led a major refactor of a critical billing claim software, improving code efficiency, scalability, and long-term maintainability. A key achievement was engineering Claim Payer Exceptions (CPE), reducing claim processing time from 3 minutes to 30 seconds, a fix that directly prevented system backlogs and improved throughput. Beyond system performance, I focus on building tools that enhance clarity across teams. I developed a simulation tool that compared legacy and updated claim files side by side, enabling non-technical stakeholders to understand system changes with confidence.
