About Constance Gray

Hi! My name is Constance and I am a Software Developer currently working as a Junior R&D Software Developer at Virtual Marine in Paradise, NL. Previously, I worked at Rutter Inc, where I developed new features and hunted down bugs working on their new marine radar software. My experience spans C#, WPF, C++, and various third-party APIs, including Google Protobuf. I have worked on software both pre- and post-launch, gaining valuable insight into architectural design, debugging, and user experience. I transitioned into software development after returning to school as a mature student, earning my Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Memorial University in 2022, specializing in programming visuals and gaming. Prior to that, I spent over a decade as a Red Seal Electrician, ran my own contracting business, and worked in business and sales. This diverse background has made me adaptable, resourceful, and highly effective in problem-solving. As an empty nester, I’m eager to take on new challenges and contribute to innovative software projects. Outside of work, I’m an avid reader, yoga enthusiast, runner, hiker, and animal lover.
