I am a highly experienced, skilled and qualified Project Manager, Project Controls, Contracts Manager, Project Planner and Civil & Site Engineer with 18 years’ experience working in challenging roles delivering bespoke high budget multi-disciplinary projects in the Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering and Transportation/Rail Engineering sectors. I began my career as a Site Engineer with the Bombela Civil Joint Venture in 2006. I excelled on the role and grew along industry ranks becoming a Project Planner at Arup, Site Project Planner at Kalagadi Manganese Mining, TWP and at Basil Read and Project Manager at Focus Project Management. I joined the Gautrain Management Agency in 2015 as a Project Planner. I exhibited great competencies on the role an grew along the company’s ranks becoming Project Manager on various projects and an acting Senior Manager Project Control/ Project Manager which is my present role. In my current role, I am responsible for developing, reviewing, and managing project requirements, procedures, and processes, managing the capex and running projects. This career progression based on merit is illustrative of my continuous improvement philosophy. I possess an MBA specialising in Project Management, a BTech in Construction Management and various qualifications covering Project management, Venture Capital, Logistics and Public Transport Management. I offer a highly specialised suite of technical and management skills in the building, and implementation of multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects. I have strong pedigree in an assortment of civil engineering and construction services covering portfolio management, feasibility studies, full life cycle project management, Infrastructure design, contract management, resource allocation, transaction advisory commercial, cost and quality management. Proven leadership skills, including managing and motivating teams to achieve company objectives within projects. Excellent working knowledge of various improvement and planning methodologies and well versed in commercial processes and operational budget management.
