About Constantina Psyllou

I am a psychology graduate with a research master's degree in child development and education. My research activities have focused on parent-child interactions, how parents and children shape each other's behavior and traits in the long run, and their daily interactions. In my PhD research, I focus on understanding how parent-focused psychosocial interventions may help families of children with behavioral problems and identifying the families who benefit more or less from such interventions. Through my research, I want to address individual family needs to reduce risks for mental health problems and enhance parent and child well-being. Besides my academic activity, I am a certified yoga instructor. I teach yoga to connect with people, explore the human body, and create a community where everyone can experience a sense of belonging and a connection with their own body and mind and the people surrounding them.
