About Constantine Anton

With a full, well-rounded background in emergency management, Constantine currently serves as a Senior Emergency Management Coordinator at the Chicago Department of Public Health operating as a subject matter expert on logistical systems, processes and operations during emergency activation. Constantine also previously served with FEMA and the American Red Cross as a Logistics Systems Specialist and Disaster Services Specialist, respectively, to stand up and support disaster and operations logistics responses during local and national level disasters. Constantine's orientation toward results is supported by his record in implementing processes to improve preparedness and response practices. His orientation is further supported by his embracement of a “Team First” management philosophy that maximizes personnel and team potential through collaboration, communication, coaching, delegation, empowerment and accountability. Constantine's keen perception and analytical skills allow him to quickly capture situational awareness from a view while he is simultaneously capable of extrapolating an accurate total operating picture from the scrutiny of small details. A native of the Chicagoland area, Constantine holds more than hours of total, local on-scene response experience. He has also served on numerous national deployments in multiple Incident Command System titles ranging from Task Force Leader to Operations and Logistics Section Chief roles.
