About Constanza Etro

Named “one of the most influential women in Italy” by Forbes Italia in 2020, Constanza is a successful businesswoman passionate about promoting young talent, sustainability and empowering women within fashion and cinema. She was born in Buenos Aires before living fifteen years in Mexico city and is now based in Milan married to italian designer Kean Etro. In Milan she serves as founder and CEO of Fashion Film Festival Milano since 2014, the most prominent Fashion Film Festival in the world with prestigious jurors as Giorgio Armani, Pierpaolo Piccioli, Franca Sozzani, Laura Brown, Nadia Lee Cohen, Harris Reed, Marcelo Burlon, Anna Dello Russo and Award winner directors and creators as Luca Guadagnino, Francesco Carrozzini, Tim Yip, Anna Lilly Amirpour, Win Wenders, Bruno Aveillan, Matteo Garrone, Rankin, Spike Jones, Cass Bird, Lisa Vreeland amongst others. An event where women empowering, diversity, and sustainability are promoted in two special projects and The best fashion films by Big Brands like Prada, Gucci, Cartier, Armani, Hermes are showcased next to new emerging talents creating the world’s biggest archive of Films from 60 countries. The Festival prides more than 250 press articles x edition. Constanza co-founded the first ever "Latin American Fashion Awards", an unprecedented event that celebrates latinamerican talent within the fashion industry, that will be held in November 2023 in the Dominica Republic. Constanza is a Member of the Advisory Board of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana Fashion Trust. Her expertise made her a member of the Jury in relevant international events: Black Carpet Awards 2023 - Photo Vogue 2022/2023 - Accademia Del Profumo Awards 2023 - Le Book Connections 2023/2022/2021- Grand Prix Luxury Cristal Festival Courchevel. Constanza was a speaker at Decoded Fashion,Fashion & Technology Summit Luisa Via Roma, Vogue Italia Conversations, at the HUB-E conference within the #ALL4CLIMATE ITALY. Held masterclasses at the Accademia Costume e Moda, IED University, the Marangoni University, the Brera University, the NABA University, the International Academy of Cinema of Bologna and the University of Tokyo. Constanza received the MCFW Fashion Award given by the Monaco Fashion Chamber and Monaco’s Prime Minister, was photographed in the book "Circle of Love" created by Sheikha Intisar Al-Sabah of Kuwait by Assouline as one of the women who are changing fashion. Constanza is now participating in the “Mentorship Milano 2023”, a Municipality of Milan project to support young women.
