About Cooper Davis

I’m a rising senior at Ohio University, pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Sports Management with a Minor in Marketing. As a dedicated student in one of the nation’s top Sports Management programs and a lifelong sports enthusiast, I’m passionate about aligning my business education with a meaningful career in the sports industry. Throughout my undergraduate journey, I’ve embraced leadership and service opportunities—serving as Vice President of Recruitment for Sigma Alpha Epsilon, participating in the selective 1804 Scholars Honors Program, and joining Sigma Alpha Sigma Mu, an honors fraternity for Sports Management majors. This summer, I am proud to be serving as the Operations Intern for the Cincinnati Open, the longest-running professional tennis tournament still held in its original city. My past experience includes working as a Marketing Associate for Ohio University Athletics, providing exceptional guest service at the Atlanta Athletic Club, and officiating youth baseball games. I also contributed to my local community by serving on the Youth Advisory Council for the City of Roswell’s Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department—where I helped advocate for a special needs tennis program, a cause close to my heart. I live and breathe sports—from watching games daily and tuning into podcasts, to appearing twice as a guest on Atlanta's 92.9 The Game sports talk radio. My passion extends to digital media: I interned in communications for the Baseball United Foundation and co-founded a high school football recruiting page focused on Ohio State, which has grown to over Instagram followers. I’m eager to continue developing professionally through internship and career opportunities where I can bring energy, creativity, and a business-minded approach to the ever-evolving world of sports.
