Background
About Cooper Jordan
I grew up in an age where technology was becoming a bigger part of our daily lives. The innovations developed by the many geniuses of our society have inspired me to want to learn more. Only then could I contribute my knowledge back to our communities. Ever since I could remember, I've been fascinated by different technologies. Whether it be a cell phone or a desktop computer, I needed to know every single detail of how it worked. This led me to where I am today. I have repaired many phones and built even more computers. Furthermore, I have worked extensively with different operating systems and software so that I could know exactly how it works. These experiences have given me the ability to understand how other technologies work that I hadn't worked with in the past. Moving into my adulthood, I decided to go to college. While attending the University of Louisville, I worked a part-time night shift job at UPS. Growing up, my father had always set an example for good work ethic. This and the pride that I take in my work led me to seek out a position in management. After 7 months, I became a Frontline Supervisor on the ramp at UPS, netting roughly 40 hours a week. This job experience has provided amazing experience in a management position as I had many challenges that I faced on a daily basis. My work and my studies take up most of my time. They require good time management skills for my daily success. In my free time, I enjoy working with computers and playing video games. So much so, that I decided to join the Louisville Esports Club at the University of Louisville in August of 2018. Serving as its treasurer for 3 years and President for an additional year, I've gained experience in project management and development. We've had many goals throughout the years that we have met when it seemed impossible. Now, we are shooting for the dream of having our own dedicated arena on campus. Working with the administration at UofL has given me the ability to see how these interactions go on a business level. Moving forward, I hope to find a well-paying job in a field that I love. I'm passionate about my work and want it to be something that I enjoy. My target industries are Computer Information Systems, Software Development, and Esports Management. If you have any questions or would just like to chat, feel free to message me. I'd love to chat!
