Background

About Cora van Hazinga

I am a GIS Coordinator for Pepperell, Massachusetts. As part of the DPW, I work closely with highway, water, and wastewater operators. I also support the departments that keep a town running- assessors, town planners, building inspectors, conservation, parks and recreation, historical commissions, and residents. You can find me deep in the woods looking for boundary monuments, flying a drone to find invasive plants, locating graves with no monuments in Woodlawn Cemetery, or digging up lost manholes in a field. As a freelancer, I also provide support as a data visualization analyst, researcher, and writer, specializing in workforce development for non-profits and mission based organizations around the country. I create memos, reports, maps, PPT decks, and other data products, presenting the findings of our analyses virtually and in person.
