About Coralee Harris

Coralee Harris is a senior executive with 30+ years in the financial services industry. Her employers have cited her strengths as communication, decision-making and judgment, versatility, and team building. Her career began at American Bankers Insurance Group (now Assurant) where she rose to be a senior officer and member of the Corporate Operating Board; effectively managing multiple departments supporting the business line efforts. In 1990, Coralee structured a leveraged buy-out of one of the company’s regional subsidiaries and led that organization as President and Principle. In 1994, she joined the FleetBoston organization with the responsibility for direct marketing to their mortgage subsidiary’s 1.5 million customers. With the passage of Gramm-Leach-Bliley in FleetBoston recruited Coralee to join the newly established Corporate Privacy Office to focus on impacts to marketing and vendor management; she held the position of Privacy Group Leader. With FleetBoston’s acquisition by the Bank of America, Coralee moved into the position of Senior Compliance Manager for Information Security. Joining Deloitte & Touche in 2005 as an Experienced Manager and Privacy Specialist, she used the opportunity to expand her subject matter expertise across industry lines. At TD Bank, N.A, Coralee managed a senior team supporting the operations and planning functions of the compliance risk management organization. She has transferred her professional abilities to be an active leader in her community of Columbia, South Carolina, where she has lived since 1990. She has served in numerous leadership positions on the boards of human services and arts related not for profits. Coralee holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Barry University.
