About Corentin Dourmap
Who am I? PhD in plant biology, I developed my expertise in seed biology and source-sink relations by studying development and metabolism using large data generating methods (metabolomics, proteomics, transcriptomics), molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics. I demonstrated also a capability in project management, teaching, communication to peer or general public through popularization of science. What motivates me? To learn more and more and to contribute to bring solutions to current and future agricultural challenges: to produce more for a growing population, with a lower environmental impact, in an increasingly constrained climate. And this involves many things: research in plant & seed biology, plant improvement, fertilisation, bio-energy, marine biology. But also teaching and awareness of general public.
