About Corey Bruno

My professional background is linked with my personal passion for the marine industry and desire to be a yacht designer - which I was at the premier yacht design firm in the United States. That passion transitioned into two Masters Degrees at the University of Michigan, focusing on operations and production from both the engineering and business standpoints. I joined Knoll in an operations rotation created specifically for me. I supported the highest-profile projects. My last role included responsibility for three shift operations of a warehouse/fabricate/paint/assemble manufacturing plant, with over 150 Associates and sales of $70m. I am proud to have also worked as Program Manager for the production of Littoral Combat Ships for the US Navy. I had responsibility for LCS 7 USS Detroit from grand block erect to launch. Specialties: PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: holistic product strategy; design for production (D/PFMEA), warranty, and environmental life cycle considerations; program management OPERATIONS: continuous improvement; operations footprint and manufacturing consolidation; integration with supply chain LOGISTICS & SUPPLY CHAIN: Logistics/freight strategy and analysis; delivery consolidation; outsourcing strategy and execution
