About Corey Cameron

I am a Research and Development Testing Engineer at Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC, where I have been working since January 2022. I have a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama, where I also studied Aerospace Engineering and Combustion, and I have developed core competencies in leadership, supplier development, and vehicle testing. In my current role, I test and evaluate next gen models of the Sprinter Van, ensuring high quality and performance. I also support yearly certification activities with EPA/CARB and collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce quality issues and implement product improvements. Previously, I was a Development Liaison Engineer and a Powertrain Supplier Quality Engineer at the same company, where I gained valuable experience in developing new local suppliers, conducting PPAP approvals and root cause analysis, and leading cross-functional task forces. I am passionate about delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for the automotive industry, and I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team as a Leader with expertise in supplier development, vehicle testing, and project management.
