Fifteen plus years involved in the Geodesy and Geomatics industry with at least 8 years in a management role. Practical experience includes but not limited to, supervision for survey engineering firm, product management for a multi-national/multi-cultural Geomatics software engineering company, marine geophysical (oil and gas) surveying, land surveying, marine software instruction, marine Geomatics concept instruction, Dimensional Control Surveying, 3D HD Laser Scanning, and UAV surveyor/operator. Extensive worldwide travel experience including South America, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and North America. Registered as a Professional Engineer with Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Newfoundland and Labrador. Licensed Land Surveyor with the Association of Newfoundland Land Surveyors. Academic achievements include BSc Eng Geodesy and Geomatics and a diploma in Geomatics Engineering Technology (Co-op). Management experience includes Office Manager, Survey Supervision of construction surveying project, Product Management of three key applications developed by a world leader in the Ocean Mapping technology sector. Field experience includes Legal Land surveying, construction surveying for several large scale construction projects, Dimensional Control surveying, 3D Laser Scanning, UAV pilot, data processing, positioning specialization in the 3D marine geophysical (oil and gas) sector, well site and pipeline surveying in the Alberta. In addition, several professional papers have been presented in various conferences as well as published in world renowned publications.
