About Corey Elmer

I am an Experienced Associate in PwC’s Financial Crimes Unit with experience designing and implementing data-driven models and analytical frameworks to strengthen compliance, manage risk, and improve efficiency. My work has focused on building and refining alert risk rating models, engineering SQL solutions for large datasets, and applying predictive analytics to support financial crime prevention. Alongside technical delivery, I have taken on leadership responsibilities, guiding junior team members and collaborating across cross-functional teams to align data insights with business objectives. Beyond financial services, I am passionate about applying analytics in creative ways. While at Temple University, I worked with Penn Baseball to develop statistical models and performance analytics that informed coaching decisions and player development. This experience fueled my interest in sports analytics and demonstrated how data can drive strategy across industries. I hold a degree in Statistical Science and Data Analytics from Temple University’s Fox School of Business, with a minor in Management Information Systems. My technical skills include SQL, Python, R, and Tableau, which I’ve applied across projects ranging from risk modeling to predictive performance analysis. I enjoy solving problems where data, strategy, and domain expertise intersect, and I strive to deliver insights that create impact, whether in financial crime prevention, sports, or beyond.
