I am a registered social worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers,(Membership #772376). I received my Bachelors of Social Work from The University of Western Ontario in 1991 and a Masters in Counselling Psychology from The University of Western Ontario in 2003. Since 2001 I have been employed at DMARehability in London. Prior to this I was employed at Parkwood Hospital for 10 years. I provide social work counselling utilizing a cognitive behavioural approach to individuals, couples and families. My areas of specialty include working with congenital and acquired disabilities, grief, trauma, and chronic pain. In addition to cognitive behavioural therapy, I am also trained as an EMDR therapist and am certified through EMDRIA. I have also completed level 1training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
