About Corey Myran

My current, past professional and personal experience transitions well. As a current Estimator in a body shop and seven years as a Field Adjuster in Multiline and Auto and two years as an Agent for Farm Bureau Financial Services from my home in Rapid City, South Dakota. I am I-Car Platinum Certified. I have maintained the largest geographic territory in Farm Bureau as well as absorbed a second territory for nine months until a replacement was hired. My territory experiences the most frequent storm losses annually as the current most active hail damage region in the country. I have adjusted for Property Damage, Bodily Injury and Auto damage to all vehicles from bicycles, ATV’s, motorcycles, snowmobiles, private and commercial private passenger autos, specialty vehicles from skid loaders to semi-tractor trailers and heavy equipment used in both commercial and agriculture environments. All while maintaining exceptional marks in performance and service. As owner and agent of a Farm Bureau Financial Services agency, I acted as liaison with a focus to clients as I was involved with field underwriting, sales (enrollment) and claims of all risk management and financial services products. I had to report, investigate, analyze, and assess, client financial situations in order to recommend a solution to their financial needs. Prepare documentation and presentations for sales negotiations and support efforts. I managed a hybrid insurance customer service, claims and sales group of 17-32 people while still maintaining a multiline license until 2010. I also have sales experience at the highest level in automotive dealerships in the early I have strong people skills, attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of professional verbal, written communication skills and advanced computer skills as I trained other employees in many functions. I have always had a strong work ethic with excellent attendance. with the ability and willingness to travel to evaluate claims in all weather. I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a BS in Business Administration and Management and a minor in Public Health in May 2014.
