About Corey Petrick

Corey Petrick is an Emmy award-winning producer, director, and educator with two decades of experience. He collaborates with large corporations, non-profits, high-end fashion brands, and top influencers to create media that combines mainstream appeal with a strong commitment to positive social impact. Throughout his career, Corey has worked in over 35 countries, delivering high-quality content across diverse industries. Corey Petrick led the creation of Thaden School's Storytelling program "Reels", a bold initiative that brings the art of storytelling into the 21st century by combining timeless narrative techniques with the tools of Transmedia Storytelling. At Thaden, Reels builds on the skills students develop in English class, with the belief that mastering modern, multimodal storytelling prepares them for success in any career. Whether they go on to be engineers, lawyers, entrepreneurs, or something else entirely, these skills help them stand out and connect in meaningful ways. Corey has also served multiple boards such as: Darling Media, a women-led media and lifestyle brand, and the Bentonville Film Foundation, which champions diverse voices, including female, non-binary, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, API, and persons with disabilities, in entertainment and media. Corey holds a BFA in Film from the School of Visual Arts and an MFA in Cinematography from the American Film Institute.
