About Corey Prince

Throughout my career I have been fortunate enough to take part in a vast array of energy sector opportunities. Early on I was in the oil and gas industry, more specifically within coil tubing and well stimulation operations. Moving forward, I was presented an opportunity within the solar energy sector in Ontario. I participated in planning and construction of numerous micro FIT and regular feed in tariff program related installs. In 2016 a new opportunity presented itself within the Port Hope Area Initiative project. I took a role as an environmental drilling operator. After my first year on the project I then moved into a position with the environmental consulting firm Arcadis Canada, as an environmental technician. Spending two plus years working this position I gained valuable project experience and knowledge and further moved on to Canadian Nuclear, again working on the PHAI project in a different facet. Currently for the past two years I have been an operation technician at the Port Hope water remediation plant. This has been a challenging and exciting opportunity to expand my knowledge within operations in a water processing setting. I have and continue to enjoy being apart of the Port Hope Area initiative. Entering my sixth year, It has been refreshing and rewarding to see the progress taking form. Being apart of multiple different scopes within has given me a broader knowledge and appreciation for the combined efforts it takes to keep this complex project advancing into a cleaner environment for the future.
