As a former National Team athlete, I carry core fundamentals of discipline and dedication, loyalty and integrity, reliability and commitment. I have a passion for seeing people succeed, always giving your best, and working hard towards achieving goals. A proven leader with more than 15 years coaching experience across multiple individual and team sports, I am focused on team success and development while being able to adjust my method to individual learning and motivational needs. Recognizing each person learns and thrives in different environments, I am able to apply my versatility as a teacher and motivator to these individual needs. I have a strong belief in the Servant Leadership philosophy. I believe in empowering and enabling people to promote individual growth and success, which ultimately leads to group and team success. Through my experience as a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter, most recently as construction Superintendent, I have gained in depth knowledge of building and operational processes within large companies, planning and scheduling procedures, budget application, and inventory management. Being detail oriented with a firm understanding of the big picture, I am able to develop clear paths to achieve goals, focusing on efficiency and quality while maintaining controls throughout the process. Previous experience in management in the retail and service industries has given me immeasurable experience working with people in fast paced environments, the ability to multi task and manage or keep organized many different aspects at the same time while being able to adapt to changes quickly and accurately on the fly. With over 20 years experience holding numerous different Executive Positions within different sports organizations, I am familiar with organizational processes, and able to communicate effectively with others regarding important and sensitive topics. My proficiency with MS Office products allows me to easily navigate and contribute in professional environments, while experience with brand development and brand management while utilizing multiple social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) have given me an appreciation for, and knowledge of appropriate and effective correspondence in the virtual world.
