About Corey Stempien

I have worked in the spa and wellness industry for over ten years. I began in the industry as Spa Coordinator at Autumns Sanctuary (an Aveda concept spa) and based on my upselling skills and extra promotional work was soon promoted to Spa Supervisor. After helping with the transition of ownership at Autumns Sanctuary, I was promoted to Spa Manager taking on new responsibilities such as hiring and trainings with success. I am educated and have over ten years experience as a Neuromuscular Therapist and have had long term consistent professional relationships with my clients, a successful return rate, great testimonials, and acceptance as an insurance provider through American Specialty Health. I started CSpaTherapy in 2007 and worked alongside Ocean Pacific Integrative Health, Nourish Acupuncture, and Harmony Wellness as a team of medical professionals. We worked well together often referring patients to one another. I created handmade necklaces and sold them for $60each. Before working in the spa industry, I had worked in finance and also had been successful with high hitting performance goals, hitting 96% and 98% two separate months, an all time record department high. I was soon lead towards a supervisory track. I received employee of the Month twice while working at Monterey Financial. I am positive, professional, ambitious, and outgoing. I am comfortable speaking, performing and teaching in front of a group. I was formerly a professional actress and studied in New York City. I was nominated for Best Lead Actress for a production here in San Diego from the Aubrey Awards. I took a five year break from my career to have my second child. The greatest accomplishment of my life is giving birth to my two children at home without medication! I returned to the work place beginning Yoga with Corey. I created a website, promotional materials and made business relationships within the city in order to teach Hatha yoga. I am currently fully employed at Massage Envy as a massage therapist. I am fully booked and with high ratings. Also, I’m in enrolled and taking classes at UC Irvine as part of their Spa and Wellness Management Program to end in 2026.
