With over seven years of experience in cell and molecular biology, I am passionate about advancing our understanding of the cellular processes that maintain health and prevent disease. As a PhD candidate, I conducted a novel research project on the cytoskeletal mechanisms that regulate lysosomal integrity and function, which are essential for autophagy, a cellular recycling system that protects cells from stress and damage.
