I practice in all areas of intellectual property law, including patent preparation and prosecution, patent opinion preparation, and patent and trade secret litigation. I have experience in conducting product clearance evaluations and counseling clients with respect to their freedom to operate in a particular field. In addition, I have been involved in a variety of corporate transactions involving intellectual property assets. My experience encompasses a broad array of technologies with a particular emphasis on the energy industry and chemical arts. In particular, I have experience relating to polymer chemistry; surfactant chemistry; gas-to-liquids technology; integrated circuits; fibers; medical devices and systems, such as spinal implants, imaging, surgical navigation, and pulse oximetry; combustor technology; gas-to-liquids technology; downhole tools; and all aspects of well drilling, completion, and stimulation.
