About Corey Wegwert

As a seasoned virtuoso of the music marketplace, I have been at the center of the ‘vinyl revival’ for nearly a decade. From my humble beginnings in an independent media outlet in Arizona, I have been at the center of multiple high-profile and mass-quantity sales. Currently, I work as a processor and quality analyst for the Carolina Soul, LLC, where I assess, appraise, and promote rare and in-demand vinyl records and accessories. As my field incorporates interpersonal networking as well as a prominent online presence, I have extensive experience in sales and digital marketing. Outside of my career in music sales, I have thoroughly dedicated myself to social justice and non-profit work. When I am not auctioning vinyl records, I can be found advocating for prison rights, fighting food and economic insecurity, and working for the well-being of low-income families in the Raleigh-Durham area. I am a proud member of the Prison Books Collective, Durham Community Fridges, and the Durham People’s Alliance.
