About Corey Yates

I am a full stack developer with an extensive background in eCommerce. I am the owner and operator of Vintage4me2, an online web store that sells original vintage sewing patterns to crafters, costumers and collectors. I have a Bachelors of Arts degree in History from the University of California at Berkeley. I am an expert on the history of the paper pattern industry and 20th Century historical fashion. After graduating in 2006, I joined Vintage4me2.com as a partner. I have grown the business from an eBay account to a 4 platform business with a social media following of over people. My roles in the business include; web development, social media management, marketing and creating quality product ads. I recently upgraded my coding skills with a certificate in MERN stack web development from GA Tech. I have strong JavaScript based skills. I am proficient in React, Redux, MongoDB, AWS, MySQL, JQuery, HTML, CSS, Node.js, RESTful APIs, GIT, Heroku and Authentication. I am a computer wiz and have excellent overall computer skills. I have never met a program I couldn't master. Programs and content managers I have mastered include Shopify, Mailchimp, Adobe Photoshop, Ebay, Etsy, Excel, Facebook Groups and Ads, Klaviyo, Visual Studio Code, Postman and Dropbox. I am looking to join the tech world full time with a job in web development.
