I currently work as an Executive Assistant to the CEO at Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA). This is a very diverse role that includes records management, event planning, change management, group facilitation, business continuation and many other duties as assigned. I get my hands into everything and I have increased the scope of this position significantly since I began this journey in 2016. My education consists of a degree in Bachelors of Administration, Project Management, Records Management Fundamentals, Adult Education and Professional Facilitation Certificates. I am also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute. I have developed my professional skills through activities such as managing projects of various sizes, planning and coordinating small- and large-scale events, facilitating meetings, workshops and rapid improvement events, leading and coaching teams, researching and analyzing data and writing a variety of communication tools including bylaws and policies. My work experience has allowed me to demonstrate my ability to build strong working relationships, exercise sound judgment, lead projects, solve problems and proactively seek solutions. I can work independently, with minimal supervision, and also thrive as part of a team to ensure goals and objectives are met. I am a passionate and outgoing professional who loves to be challenged. I am someone who is able to establish priorities to meet deadlines and am extremely organized.
