About Corinne Moore

Corinne Moore started her career in the Arts, pursuing and completing a BFA in Dance from Simon Fraser University. During her time as a student she volunteered with various companies in an administrative role, and that led to her love for facilitating and organizing groups and events and learning about the business side of working within Non-profits Arts associations. After completing her Executive Assistant Training at Vancouver Community College, she worked within the Public service for the next two years as a Casual employee as an Administrative assistant at both Service Canada and Western Economic Diversification. In 2010 she started at PEER 1 Hosting as a Customer Advocate, where she learned in short order the world of Network Administration and Colocation Hosting and how to offer the best customer service in this area. A move home to Vancouver Island in Port Alberni, was the next step to transition to motherhood and Island Living. She obtained a position at Nuu-Chah-Nulth Employment and Training Program as Receptionist, and a few months later, Corinne secured a temporary contract as a Driving Training Coordinator, putting to good use her organizational and facilitation skills. She then transitioned into Case Manager for Southern Region with the Enhanced Service Delivery and First Nations Job Fund and also all the ASETS clients. She is trained in Motivational Interviewing Level 1 and Level 2, Career and Math Employment Readiness Assessments (CAMERA) and Job Developer and Theories and Ethics of Career Development Practitioners (Life Strategies). She hopes to pursue her CCDP (Certified Career Development Professional ) Designation. She is actively seeking other opportunities.
