As a VP/Senior Category Manager of Product Development at Lifetime Brands, I lead the new product development process for the precision measurement category. Effectively working with the food service channel, consumer brands and private label programs my team has created many successful, long-term programs. Over 20 years of hands-on experience in the housewares industry enables me to create innovative and winning products that meet the needs and expectations of both corporate and consumer audiences. I have a unique background combining business management and culinary arts, which provides an excellent connection to this field of business. I am passionate about delivering long-term financial growth and success for Lifetime Brands/Taylor and its partners, by leveraging my strong creative and analytical skills, high level of detail and organization, and ability to multi-task on various large projects. I work with cross-functional teams on design, engineering, factory negotiations, and sales meetings, and I lead a team of product managers to complete projects on time and on budget. I am a collaborative and strategic decision-maker with expertise in productive buyer meetings, social product marketing, category management, and trade show execution which help me to position and promote products effectively in the market.
