About Cormac Curtis

Following a successful career in Irish Media I moved to content and product development roles in top-tier international tech firms including Google and CarTrawler. Exceptional communication, presentation and project management are key skills I bring to any role. An honours Diploma in Information Systems led me to teaching myself code in a number of different languages. My coding skills include Java, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, HTML, CSS, Visual Basic.NET and SQL. Working with the People Operations team at Google, I have lead a global content transformation project spanning USA, EMEA, APAC and LATAM. Across three years with Irish tech firm CarTralwer, I took the lead in high-profile product development with a focus on digital customer experience as well as content and translation. Training and courses: • Java Master Diploma at IACT – completed in February 2017 • Completed an intensive three-day training course in Google Analytics in November 2016 • Took part in UX foundation course in January 2016 • Diploma in Information Systems at Trinity College Dublin (2012-2014) • In-house upskilling in SQL and Project Management with Sureskills in 2016 Making the move into the tech sector was both a risk and a challenge - ultimately it has been the most successful and rewarding experience of my career.
