About Cormac Flood
Cormac completed a PhD by research in 2019 in the area of thermal retrofit / refurbishment of existing dwellings while working in practice with COADY Architects. More recently, having handed over the NCH Satellite Hospital Units in both Connolly & Tallaght, Cormac is now focused on the site delivery of the new Ronald McDonald House beside the New Children’s Hospital, a nursing home and a cohort of modular schools. With TU Dublin, Vision Built SISK and Westmeath County Council, Cormac and COADY Architects delivered the Irish case study for DRIVE 0 - An EU funded research study focused on a circular approach to retrofit of existing housing.
