About Cormac Nolan

I'm a science nut and gamer with a strong interest for physics, technology, data, game design, education, fitness, people, animals and the world. I've worked as an engineer, a fitness instructor & coach, and a secondary school teacher. I'm currently seeking opportunities as a data analyst or similar role. My primary training was as a scientist and this has always been part of the basis for my views on work and life. I've also led projects as an intern process engineer at Intel Ireland and volunteered with the DSPCA, Camphill Communities and with Data Kind to leverage the power of data. I see myself as a collaborative worker, always willing and able to work and learn with others to get the job done. Friends describe me as easygoing but passionate about my interests and always there to help when in need. I love discussing big concepts and ideas, I'm also a lover of learning and working on my own projects. More recently I have completed studies for the HDip in Computing at DIT, specialising in data analytics, from which I graduated with a first class honours in 2016.
