About Cormac Savage

EU Affairs consultant at FGS Global based in Brussels. Harvard College Class of 2025 concentrating in Government and Romance Languages & Literatures. Belfast Live 2024 "35 Under 35". One of Irish Business Post's 2024 innovators:"Irish names shaking up the global status quo". No.73 Belfast Telegraph's "Northern Ireland's Top Newsmakers in 2021". I spent the first two summer breaks of university working for Rachel Reeves MP, the Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer in her office in Westminster and am now based in Brussels working in Policy and Public Affairs at FGS Global. In 2020, I founded the Secondary Students’ Union of Northern Ireland to give young people a voice in education in NI. This is the first organisation of its kind in the UK and made history in its first week with the success of its inaugural campaign, Trust Our Teachers, to overturn the disastrous A level algorithm used for grading in 2020. Under my leadership we were successful in 7 subsequent campaigns for change in the education system in Northern Ireland in one year.
