About Cornelia Griggs

As a pediatric surgeon and critical care specialist at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), I apply my expertise in convergence science and health services research to improve the outcomes and quality of care for children with complex surgical conditions. I have over 10 years of experience in clinical practice, teaching, and research, and I am an assistant professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School. I am also passionate about social justice advocacy, technology, and journalism, and I use these skills to communicate and disseminate my research findings and insights to a wider audience. I am the author of "The Sky Was Falling", a book that explores the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the the young medical community. I also write articles and blogs for various media outlets and platforms, and I participate in podcasts and webinars to share my knowledge and perspectives on current issues and trends in healthcare.
