About Cornelia Trombley

Hello! I am Cornelia "Coco" Trombley. I have worked in many industries, in many fields, and learned varying skills that I have been able to use in many of my careers throughout my life. My interests include art, conservation/sustainability, video games, gardening, reading, hiking, fitness, and music. I particularly love singing and karaoke. I have often been described as someone with a strong sense of character, who is accountable, and kind. I am someone who always seeks opportunities to learn and grow from both my successes and failures. I strive to lead with honesty and create connections with others both in my personal life and in the workplace. I was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age, and so I had opportunities to develop coping skills that others did not. However, growing up with ADHD meant I also developed an acute sense of empathy for other's struggles and helped me hone different organizational methods that have benefitted me in the workplace. I am open about my diagnosis to serve as an example of how disabilities are not just those we can see, or that affect everyone in equal ways. If you were to ask me to describe myself, I would describe myself as stubborn, ambitious, funny, quick-witted, and intense. Some of these, you might be thinking, are not words most people would take as a compliment. I like to try to utilize these traits (like my intensity) to my benefit, by putting my whole heart into everything I do. My greatest weaknesses would be impulsivity, self-control, and hyper-independence. These are also the traits I work hard to manage, though they have also been a contributing factor to my sense of accountability, and willingness to accept responsibility. My greatest strengths are my resilience, my sense of integrity, and my friendliness. While I am mindful of hierarchies in the workplace and am mindful of how I communicate to my peers and superiors alike, I approach each interaction as a way to learn something new about someone, and work to create an inclusive workplace. Going forward, I want to push myself to be the best version of myself I can be. I look forward to what opportunities and challenges await me in the workplace.
